I am an ex-employee of this company. I dont recommend people joining this company and especially people who are techie should never think about joining this company. Management really sucks. Vendor partners like TCS,Accenture..etc will be a competitors for you in the project. No work, so no pressure other than competitors games on you.

They are just running on back office support model. So real techies just stay away else you get trapped into crap work. The bullshit work from UK,US gets outsourced to India. The bullshit place to be with. The company stinks to the core Major activities you will be part of 1. Prolonged Townhall meetings which will be as boring as political rallies. Each AVP's represent a political leader and talk some bullshit. Achievements wil be highlighted in townhall guess what Using AJAX extenders, SSIS will be highly appreciated. Once an AVP flaunted that the only company which uses AJAX is MLITS. 2. Group updates: An useless talk about the team achievements like "My team wrote a webservice with only 1 WebMethod" . The AVP's are real shits in this company who try to steal the show most of the time 3. You will be asked to provide details about your projects, nature of work and status every week for some top official in ML. You will be doing the same thing again and again with different presentation styles. 4. 2/3 rd of MLITS population are cogs who are very inexperienced and cannot execute high end applications. 5. Certain AVP's are good to fart from their mouth. 6. Coding : To get a IDE installed you will have to get hell lot of approvals. You will forget the coding skills if you join here. The applications outsourced to India are school apps with 2-3 screens, and some database tables. This will be exuecuted for 3 months and the team will get the best team award.

The company really sucks. They claim the hierarchy to be so flat but you need to go for hell lot of approvals for getting your S/W's installed. There is no well laid career path.. The work is purely back ffice support. Keying some junk data to the mainframes. There is no real tech people who head the technology division. They claim to have a .NET COE with only a bunch of cogs. They claim to have a low attrition. People are lawsted from the comany on every Fridays. They will interview you with lot of technical jargons at the end of the day you end up in low profile work.

The company really sucks. They claim the hierarchy to be so flat but you need to go for hell lot of approvals for getting your S/W's installed. There is no well laid career path.. The work is purely back ffice support. Keying some junk data to the mainframes. There is no real tech people who head the technology division. They claim to have a .NET COE with only a bunch of cogs. They claim to have a low attrition. People are lawsted from the comany on every Fridays. They will interview you with lot of technical jargons at the end of the day you end up in low profile work.

If you are looking to work in an entreprenuerial organisation where you can get a lot of hands on learning (as opposed to large companies where you are small fish), this is the place not to be. Very mud run, process-driven company where you will not focus on your role, but be exposed to the entire business and delivery cycle. Open and dishonest management, a company with a proven track record.

The bunch of AVP's here are true rookies who claim to have come out of BSchools. None know the basics of business neither technology. The technical interviews are conducted by these AVP's. Most poular question diff between .NET remoting and Web service. The HR's simply flaunt about the ML brand and they will hide you about the recent layoffs. Instead of joining ML you can join even Photon Infotech. You will have to suffer a lot of boring sessions in terms of Domain training. The townhalls are least relevant to the developers. They talk in terms of financial domain. The top management are really rudes who will lock the doors by not letting people out when they get bored of these townhalls. If you are late to Induction after a break you will be insulted in front of every one by the Director. Beware guys.. Better stay off.

People get cheated in joining Merrill India Technology services just by the brand name. Guys beware of joining Merill India. It is just a captive center not a true Merrill Shop. They are just running on back office support model. So real techies just stay away else you get trapped into crap work. The bullshit work from UK,US gets outsourced to India. Started to fire people recently. You do not have well defined career path. This is the place where you can find the highest degree of red tapism.

The best thing about the company is the GYM, which they offer at free of cost(no instructor though). They don't know to respect employees. Only when you put your papers they will pretend to respect you, by making hell lot of false promises. Guys I am saying, if you want your life to get f*****, ruined, screwed, then this is the place to work. Then there is this director who frightens people by her dressing and non-sense sense of humor.

The bullshit place to be with. The company stinks to the core Major activities you will be part of 1. Prolonged Townhall meetings which will be as boring as political rallies. Each AVP's represent a political leader and talk some bullshit. Achievements wil be highlighted in townhall guess what Using AJAX extenders, SSIS will be highly appreciated. Once an AVP flaunted that the only company which uses AJAX is MLITS. 2. Group updates: An useless talk about the team achievements like "My team wrote a webservice with only 1 WebMethod" . The AVP's are real shits in this company who try to steal the show most of the time 3. You will be asked to provide details about your projects, nature of work and status every week for some top official in ML. You will be doing the same thing again and again with different presentation styles. 4. 2/3 rd of MLITS population are cogs who are very inexperienced and cannot execute high end applications. 5. Certain AVP's are good to fart from their mouth. 6. Coding : To get a IDE installed you will have to get hell lot of approvals. You will forget the coding skills if you join here. The applications outsourced to India are school apps with 2-3 screens, and some database tables. This will be exuecuted for 3 months and the team will get the best team award.

In the present situation it is better to stick around in any of these companies like CTS,HCL. Again opinion differs. On the whole I respect CTS and like to work here. I am getting enought technical exposure after sacked from Merill

If you are looking to work in an entreprenuerial organisation where you can get a lot of hands on learning (as opposed to large companies where you are small fish), this is the place not to be. Very mud run, process-driven company where you will not focus on your role, but be exposed to the entire business and delivery cycle. Open and dishonest management, a company with a proven track record.

his place is bad when it comes to good pay. They seem to hire pretty bad employees, who just seem to be incompetent to handle the daily work pressures. Was here for one year and felt frustrated with everything before I called it quits. Potential employees are better off working at Gartner or Forrester

What is so good in merger. Visit the link they are planning to cut more jobs. The funniest thing is they are trying to recruit contractors who can wok for 6 months. I know one AVP who personally tells the interviewers not to tell about the nature of work(Production Support/Back office). Such dolt managers has to be kicked in their butt and thrown away. The turn out os the recent ML walkin was very poor. Only the dead weights in the industry are showing up who will be garlanded and welcome by the HR's and AVP's. The IT ministry should ban such captive units to function in India.

After merger with BofA, ML is well positioned. ML Tech India will be getting more assignments/projects post-merger for Integration. Right now, it is the place to work.

Remuneration may sound good. However they pay a person who used to get 3 lac with 6 ac and a person with 6 lac somewhere around 10 that is the limit. Person who was getting will not be offered more than 12 or 13 at the max. The HR's are real nuts who pretend to be direct employees of ML. This is not true. The whole recruitment process is haywire. True technology people stay away from Merrill India. If you want to join Indian Politics get trained in ML india. Desh ka netha ban jaaogae.

If you like to hang around in Gym,Cafeteria wthout much work join MLITS. Serious Developers, Techies please dont join. You will end up your life just by churning out some excel reports to the management all the time. The attrition rate is too much now. People are shown the doors of the company on every Friday\'s.

I totally agree with all the guys who have commented about ML. The company recently fired me by telling me that I did not perform as expected. However it is proven to be false. Everyone knew that it is the company who did not perform well and incurred huge losses.

The bunch of AVP's here are true rookies who claim to have come out of BSchools. None know the basics of business neither technology. The technical interviews are conducted by these AVP's. Most poular question diff between .NET remoting and Web service. The HR's simply flaunt about the ML brand and they will hide you about the recent layoffs. Instead of joining ML you can join even Photon Infotech. You will have to suffer a lot of boring sessions in terms of Domain training. The townhalls are least relevant to the developers. They talk in terms of financial domain. The top management are really rudes who will lock the doors by not letting people out when they get bored of these townhalls. If you are late to Induction after a break you will be insulted in front of every one by the Director. Beware guys.. Better stay off.

The company really sucks. They claim the hierarchy to be so flat but you need to go for hell lot of approvals for getting your S/W's installed. There is no well laid career path.. The work is purely back ffice support. Keying some junk data to the mainframes. There is no real tech people who head the technology division. They claim to have a .NET COE with only a bunch of cogs. They claim to have a low attrition. People are lawsted from the comany on every Fridays. They will interview you with lot of technical jargons at the end of the day you end up in low profile work.

People get cheated in joining Merrill India Technology services just by the brand name. Guys beware of joining Merill India. It is just a captive center not a true Merrill Shop. They are just running on back office support model. So real techies just stay away else you get trapped into crap work. The bullshit work from UK,US gets outsourced to India. Started to fire people recently. You do not have well defined career path. This is the place where you can find the highest degree of red tapism.
