Even we are facing the same problem @ CTS - no Administration guys will hear our transportation issues. Drivers used to be very rude and will pick-up their friends on the way and drop them near to their office - which should not be questioned by any employees who are travelling in the same Bus. Very conveniently - we have been put in Navalur... that is very much convenient for the Drivers. No Forum... no one would listen...

Them not laying off people is only temporary. These folks are wolves in sheep's clothing. Never know when something fast might come and hit your face. They will definitely start laying off people not in 10s or 100s, but in 1000s.

Not happy being here. They laid off my sister when she joined cognizant a few hours ago primarily because they were not doing good. They are going through a bleak period and there has been rumours that there might be a large scale retrenchment even this time around. Inspite of that, I believe they have started hiring very bad people. Some of the people in HR are pretty bad. There was on person who was sacked from photon (the company getting bad reviews everywhere) joining cognizant. Don't they do background checks. It is time they did something and ensured that they had the right people on board. That was their main strength and I hope they realize that.

In the present situation it is better to stick around in any of these companies like CTS,HCL. Again opinion differs. On the whole I respect CTS and like to work here. I am getting enought technical exposure which I expected so no complaints.

Not really a nice place to work in. It was a fantastic place to be in 3 years ago. But standards have dropped abysmally low. They have started hiring very bad programmers who churn out bad code time and again. Working environment is also not that good off late. Better join organizations like infosys, tcs.

Good place to work in. Rewards could be a bit more, but it is ok. Once you perform, you automatically start making more money and your work is recognised by everyone.
